“Saigon Style” is a collection inspired by Vietnamese artwork and propaganda posters, reinterpreting their bold colours, motifs, and cultural symbolism into contemporary fashion. Motifs of freedom, liberty, and peace are woven into the designs through hand-collected references, created using a portable scanner to capture street art and textures directly from the environment around me. The collection celebrates the vibrancy of Saigon’s visual culture, translating it’s everyday surroundings into garments that carry both personal and cultural narratives.
