Jim Thompson Internship
Reference from the company:

To support the Purple Community Fund (PCF) in their mission to transform waste into recycled fashion, I became involved in an awareness and action group at my school, SJI International in Singapore. My family and I volunteered to collect ring pulls, a simple act that blossomed into a community-wide effort. I distributed about 25 collection pots, with clear explanations, to local hawker centers. Each week, I was amazed by the local support as I returned to empty the pots. This initiative, led to a significant shipment of ring pulls to the PCF center in Manila, Philippines. The images show my mum and my teachers delivering the ring pulls, the children supported by the foundation, and the beautiful items created from their collection.

Volunteering at Curtain-up studio

I volunteered at Curtain Up Studio in Bangkok, where I gained hands-on experience in costume design while supporting children in the arts. Working in this environment allowed me to understand how costumes contribute to storytelling on stage, while also developing patience, collaboration, and the ability to nurture creativity in others.

Props for the Hunger Games play made by me!
Playgroup Leader SBS Bangkok
Fostering an ongoing relationship with the school local to me, SBS Bangkok, has been fundamental in improving my leadership skills. The opportunity to support young children's development through Art and Design sheds light on its importance in a increasingly technological world, I was overjoyed to be able to teach and support these children in their artistic endeavours.
